Terms & Conditions

Last updated: August 27, 2026

Agreement

These terms apply when you book or receive appliance repair services from Laurel Creek Appliance Repair, or use lauriecreekappliancerepair.ca. By booking a visit, you agree to them.

Our services

We diagnose and repair household appliances, including refrigerators and freezers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and stoves, at your location across Waterloo and the surrounding area. Working hours are Monday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM.

Diagnostics & pricing

We don't provide repair quotes or estimates by phone, email, or through the website. Every price is set in person: the technician examines the appliance at your location, identifies the fault, and names one exact price covering parts and labour. Work begins only after you approve that price.

Diagnostics are free of charge when you go ahead with the approved repair. If you choose not to proceed, a service call fee for the visit and diagnosis is due. Cancelled and missed visits are covered by our Cancellation Policy.

Payment

Payment is due when the work is completed, unless we agree otherwise in writing before the visit.

Warranty

Completed repairs are covered by our 90-day parts and labour warranty, described in full on the Warranty page.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide safe access to the appliance, with power, water, or gas supply available as applicable
  • Tell us about known issues, prior repairs, or modifications to the appliance
  • Secure pets during the visit
  • Have an adult present while the technician works

Limits of liability

We take care in your home and stand behind the work we perform. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, failures in components we did not service, or indirect losses such as spoiled food or lost time. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.

Right to decline service

We may decline or stop a job if conditions are unsafe, if an appliance has been modified in a hazardous way, or if the access we need can't be provided.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version published on this page applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
